Board Members

Amy Corson-Nadell, President Amy Corson NadeAmy is one of the Founding Members of the Gia Nicole Angel Foundation and began her professional career as a Social Worker running the Children and Family Department at a community center. Since 1997, Amy has been the Owner and President of Art a la Carte, Inc., representing Artists in the sale of their jewelry and accessories in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. In addition, she is the Owner of an Ignite Energy Business. As a graduate of George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Amy went on to receive a Masters in Social Service from Bryn Mawr.
Since the age of 3, dancing has been her constant hobby and Cape May, New Jersey is Amy's favorite place to spend time with her friends and family (also known as her favorite place on the planet). Amy's husband and 3 children are the loves of her life.



Katrina Schaefer Otchet, Vice President katrina Ochet Katrina was schooled at TASIS in Thorpe, Surrey, England and is a graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. As a Broker in New Jersey and a Salesperson in Pennsylvania, she has enjoyed an exciting career in Real Estate selling estates and historic properties and has also managed a real estate company.
Katrina is the proud Mother of two fantastic young children. She loves to travel, boat and entertain with her husband and spend time with her family and friends in both Bucks County, Pennsylvania and Sarasota, Florida. Katrina has been a Board Member since 2004.



Jordan Nadell, Treasurer Jordan NadellJordan has been a Board Member since the inception of the Foundation in 2001. A graduate of George Washington University, he is currently the Vice President of Finance at Comcast Corporation and has been employed there since 1994.
As an avid Philadelphia sports fan (from the Phillies and Sixers to the Eagles and Flyers), Jordan is impatiently waiting another championship! His free time is spent in Cape May, New Jersey with his wife, Amy, and their three children.



Michelle L. Davis tj.jpgThe Board welcomed Michelle in the fall of 2012. Michelle is a Breast Cancer Survivor and currently is the Corresponding Secretary for the Healing Consciousness Foundation.

Michelle is a Sales Representative for Art a la Carte and a Managing Director in Ignite. She is also a past owner of the retail store Wishlist Boutique.
As a Penn State Graduate, Michelle majored in Criminology and minored in Sociology. She loves to spend time with her husband, 3 boys and friends.



Matt Otchet Matt OchetMatt runs a business unit for Constellation Software Inc. (CSU:TSX). As President of Computrition, Matt operates the leading software provider in the foodservice acute care market, providing applications to a wide range of hospitals. His travel schedule affords him the ability to see North America visiting with clients, business partners, their satellite offices and of course spending time in the L.A. headquarters. When not at work, Matt enjoys activities of all sorts that include photography, boating and spending time with his wife and 2 amazing young children. Matt has served on the board since 2004.



Ryan S. Nachsin tj.jpg As a Senior Business Analyst at Aberdeen Asset Management, Ryan is based in Philadelphia. He received his MBA from Villanova University and also holds a BS in Finance and International Business from Pennsylvania State University. Ryan has studied in Sevilla, Spain and has been awarded the CFA designation.
Ryan's hobbies include hiking, rock climbing, racquetball and white water rafting. He has been a member of the Board since 2007.



Tara Garrison tj.jpg Tara recently joined the board in 2015. Originally from Seattle, Wash., she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications/Advertising from Washington State University. Most recently, she spent seven years working in the Merchandising Department at ARAMARK. Also, she coordinated the Dresher Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPs) group for three years and is still actively involved on the steering team leading the fundraising efforts. She currently lives in Glenside, Pa. with her husband and three awesome kids. She enjoys running, cooking, scrapbooking, and spending time with family and friends.

The Giving Angels Foundation is a 501(c)(3) with a 100% Volunteer Board. Last year, 95% of the monies received went directly to scholarships for Special Needs Children and their families.
