At the Giving Angels Foundation we endeavor to enhance the daily functioning of a child with special needs and his or her family by awarding assistance through the purchase of a specific item or items.
We classify special needs as those children under the age of 21 with any type of physical disability (such as, but not limited to, spina bifida, paralysis, missing limbs) or illness (such as, but not limited to, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, cancer).
Funds are awarded on a case by case basis with preference given to lower income and single parent families. Families who wish to receive assistance must complete an application and submit required supporting documents. Please note that if your income is more than $50,000 per year, we might require additional information to justify financial need. In order to help as many families as possible, we have a $500 maximum one-time grant allowance per recipient family (with rare exceptions made at the Board’s discretion).
The foundation reserves the right to decline any application and/or ask for any additional information regarding the application. Applications on hold will be re-evaluated after 12 months.
